Polyporusterone B is a triterpene carboxylic acid isolated from Polyporus umbellatus Fries known as pentahydroxy bile acids, alcohols, and derivatives. Polyporusterone B Polyporusterone B has an inhibitory effect on free radical-induced lysis of red blood cells (hemolysis).
