Bioactivity:
Cirsimarin is a flavonoid isolated from Microtea debilis. It shows a potent antilipogenic effect and decreases adipose tissue deposition in mice. Cirsimarin has antagonist activity on the adenosine A1 receptor and inhibitory effect on phosphodiesterase.
