Bioactivity:
Albifylline is a xanthine derivates with anti-asthmatic activity. Albifylline may cause a significant reduction of shock-induced leukocyte adhesions to the sinusoidal endothelium in the liver after hemorrhagic shock. Albifylline also improves microvascular blood flow in the liver.
