Blennin C, also known as Lactaronecatorin A, belongs to the class of organic compounds known as terpene lactones. These are prenol lipids containing a lactone ring. Within the cell, lactaronecatorin is primarily located in the membrane (predicted from logP) and cytoplasm. Outside of the human body, lactaronecatorin can be found in mushrooms.
