DAA is a useful food-derived compound for treating obesity-related diseases, by decreasing plasma glucose, insulin levels, plasma triglyceride (TG) , and hepatic TG levels. 3. DAA derivatives displays anti-secretory and anti-pepsin effect in animal models.
