Calcium trinatrium diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid hydrate (Ca-DTPA trisodium salt hydrate) is a metal chelator and a useful antidote (such as acute cadmium intoxication). Ca-DTPA trisodium salt hydrate is a nontoxic inhibitor of CMV replication.
