4-Hydroxyderricin, the major active ingredients of Angelica keiskei Koidzumi, is a potent selective MAO-B inhibitor (IC50: 3.43 μM). It also mildly inhibits DBH (dopamine β-hydroxylase) activity and has antidepressant activity.
