Further Information

Applications:
WB - 0.1 ug/mL (chemiluminescence detection system) ICC - 0.5 ug/mL
Background:
The KDEL (lys-asp-glu-leu) sequence is most common endoplasmic reticulum (ER) retention signal. The ER resident proteins, which should be located in the ER, have this retention motif, and this retention is mediated by KDEL receptor.
Concentration:
1 mg/mL
Formulation:
100 ug IgG in 100 ul volume of PBS containing 50% glycerol, pH 7.2. No preservative is contained.
Immunogen Translated:
Mouse GRP78 C-terminal 644-655 aa
Reactivity:
This antibody reacts with human proteins containing KDEL sequence on Western blotting and Immunocytochemistry. The reactivity to mouse, rat and hamster proteins containing KDEL sequence was confirmed by Western blotting.
Shelf Life:
1 year
Source:
This antibody was purified from hybridoma (clone 1D5) supernatant using protein A agarose. This hybridoma was established by fusion of mouse myeloma cell P3U1 with C3H mouse lymphocyte immunized with KLH conjugated synthetic peptide CTGEEDTSEKDEL corresponding to the amino acid residues 644-655 of mouse GRP78.
Target:
KDEL
