IKKβ-IN-1 is a potent, orally active inhibitor of IkappaB (IKK-β) (IC50: 0.20 uM). IKKβ-IN-1 reduces the inhibition of PGE2 and TNF-α production in murine macrophages. IKKβ-IN-1 protects mice from infection shock-induced death.
