MJN68390, also known as Procaspase-8 Inhibitor 63-R, is a novel selective procaspase-8 (Pro-C8) Inhibitor covalently binding the zymogen, or inactive precursor (pro-form), of caspase-8, but not other caspases. This product was first reported in Nature (London, United Kingdom) (2016), 534(7608), 570-574. This product has no formal name at the moment. For the convenience of communication, a temporal code name was therefore proposed according to MedKoo Chemical Nomenclature (see web page: https://www.medkoo.com/page/naming).
