Bioactivity:
Cytarabine hydrochloride is a nucleoside analog that causes S phase cell cycle arrest and inhibits DNA polymerase. Cytarabine inhibits DNA synthesis with an IC 50 of 16 nM. Cytarabine hydrochloride has antiviral effects against HSV.
