Difluoro atorvastatin is an Atorvastatin impurity. Atorvastatin is an orally active HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor and it has the ability to effectively decrease blood lipids. Atorvastatin inhibits human SV-SMC proliferation and invasion (IC50s: 0.39 uM and 2.39 uM, respectively).
