Aprofene (Aprophen) is an antagonist of muscarinic and nicotinic acetylcholine receptors. It may be used in the therapy of peptic ulcers, endarteritis (inflammation of the inner shell of the artery), cholecystitis (inflammation of the gallbladder), and spastic colitis.
