Specificity:
The polyclonal antibody with the highest specificity for Prostaglandin H Synthase 1 (PGHS-1), also known as Cyclooxygenase 1 (COX-1) and corresponds to a sequence region unique to COX-1. This antibody reacts with native, as well as, recombinant COX-1 from several species including human, sheep, rat and most other mammalian species, except mouse. It does not cross-react with COX-2 from any of the species examined to date.
