Additional Names:
CDYL, chromodomain protein, Y-like, CDYL1, DKFZP586C1622, MGC131936, CDY-like, autosomal, bA620A17.2 (chromodomain protein, Y chromosome-like), chromodomain protein, Y chromosome-like, chromodomain protein, Y chromosome-like, isoform b, testis-specific chromodomain Y-like protein, DKFZp586C1622
Application Note:
Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:4000.Western Blot:Approx 75kDa band observed in Human Testes lysates (calculated MW of 66.5kDa according to NP_004815.2). The observed molecular weight corresponds to earlier findings in literature with different antibodies (Lahn et al , Proc Natl Acad Sci U S A. 2002 Jun 25;99(13):8707-12; PMID: 12072557). Recommended concentration: 1-3ug/ml. An additional band of unknown identity was also consistently observed at 26kDa. This band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunising peptide. We would appreciate any feedback from people in the field - have any results been reported with other antibodies/lysates? Have any further splice variants/modified forms been reported?
