Application Note:
VSIG4 antibody can be used for detection of VSIG4 by ELISA at 1:312500. VSIG4 antibody can be used for detection of VSIG4 by western blot at 5.0 μg/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
Background:
T cell activation by APCs is positively and negatively regulated by members of the B7 family. VSIG4 is a strong negative regulator of murine and human T cell proliferation and IL-2 production.
