Further Information
Applications Description:
The antibody may be used in ELISA and Immuno-affinity-chromatography (IAC).
Suggested dilution 1:100,000 in ELISA (this titer is defined as the dilution that gives 50 % of the absorbance from the maximum absorbance when tested with ELISA). Plates are coated with 400 ng/ml ovalbumine-conjugated pirimiphos. HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG should be used as a tracer in a 1:8,000 dilution.
Pirimiphos is an insecticide belonging to the group of organophosphothioates. It is applied in the field on fruits, vegetables, in the storage of grain products, and as an additive in paints. It has adverse effects on algae and mammals due to its biological activity as acetylcholine esterase inhibitor.
This product is intended FOR RESEARCH USE ONLY, and FOR TESTS IN VITRO, not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures involving humans or animals.
This product contains sodium azide. To prevent formation of toxic vapors, do not mix with strong acidic solutions. To prevent formation of potentially explosive metallic azides in metal plumbing, always wash into drain with copious quantities of water.
