Further Information

Conjugate Tag:
HRP
Form:
Lyophilized
Immunogen:
A epitope tag peptide (conjugated with KLH) corresponding to YPYDVPDYA from hemagglutinin influenza.
Immunogen Sequence Protein Sequence:
YPYDVPDYA
Preparation Method:
This antibody was purified from whole rabbit serum prepared by repeated immunizations with the 9-aa epitope tag peptide YPYDVPDYA (11 114-122) from hemagglutinin influenza conjugated to KLH using maleimide. A residue of cysteine was added to the carboxy terminal end to facilitate coupling.
Product Description:
Rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against HA epitope tag peptide. The antibody is conjugated with Horseradish peroxidase (HRP).
Recommend Dilutions:
ELISA (1:5000)
Immunohistochemistry (1:500-1:2000)
Western Blot (1:1000-1:5000)
The optimal working dilution should be determined by the end user.
Specificity:
This affinity purified antibody is directed against the HA motif and is useful in determining its presence in various assays. This polyclonal anti-HA tag antibody detects over-expressed proteins containing the HA epitope tag. To date, this antibody has reacted with all HA-tagged proteins tested. In western blotting of bacterial extracts, the antibody does not cross-react with endogenous proteins.
Storage Buffer:
Lyophilized from 20 mM potassium phosphate, 150 mM NaCl, pH 7.2 (10 mg/mL BSA, 0.01% (w/v) Gentamicin Sulfate). Do NOT add sodium azide!
