Further Information

Antigen Target Species:
Jellyfishes
Conjugate Tag:
Biotin
Form:
Lyophilized
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein corresponding to full length amino acid sequence (246 amino acids) derived from the jellyfish Aequorea victoria GFP.
Note:
This product contains sodium azide: a POISONOUS AND HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCE which should be handled by trained staff only.
Preparation Method:
This antibody was prepared from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography using Green Fluorescent Protein (Aequorea victoria) coupled to agarose beads followed by solid phase adsorption(s) to remove any unwanted reactivities.
Product Description:
Rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against full length recombinant GFP. The antibody is conjugated with Biotin.
Recommend Dilutions:
ELISA (1:10000-1:50000)
Immunofluorescence (1:5000)
Immunohistochemistry (1:1000-1:5000)
Western Blot (1:2000-1:10000)
The optimal working dilution should be determined by the end user.
Specificity:
wt, rGFP, eGFP. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-rabbit serum, anti-biotin and purified and partially purified green fluorescent protein (Aequorea victoria). No reaction was observed against human, mouse and rat serum proteins.
Storage Buffer:
Lyophilized from 0.02 M potassium phosphate, 0.15 M sodium chloride, pH 7.2 (10 mg/mL BSA (immunoglobulin and protease free), 0.01% (w/v) sodium azide).
