Long Description:
Chemical. CAS: 93-29-8. Formula: C12H14O3. MW: 206.2. Isoeugenol is used as a fragrance material in perfumes and perfumed products. It is a moderate to strong skin allergen and a frequent cause of contact allergy. Isoeugenyl acetate has been used as a substitute for Isoeugenol, but is probably easily hydrolysed in the skin to produce isoeugenol. Isoeugenyl acetate is a useful building block and has antibacterial and antifungal properties. Compound can be used as analytical reference material.
