Long Description:
Chemical. CAS: 179101-81-6. Formula: C18H14Cl4F3NO3. MW: 491.12. Pyridalyl is an insecticidal agent. It shows high insecticidal activity against various lepidopteran larvae and controls a wide range of lepidopteran pests on cotton, tobacco and vegetables. While pyridalyl is highly active against target pests, the toxicity of this compound against mammals is minimal, and this compound has relatively low toxicity against various important beneficial arthropods such as natural enemies or bees. Pyridalyl inhibits cellular protein synthesis in insects, with an unknown mode of action. Can be used as a reference compound.
