25-OH Vitamin D3 Antibody-antigen Complex
Long Description:
Recombinant Antibody. This antibody reacts to 25-OH Vitamin D3/RM3 or 25-OH Vitamin D3/ RMH04 complexes. It does not cross-react with Vitamin D3, Vitamin D2 and 25-OH Vitamin D2. It also does not recognize free 25-OH Vitamin D3, RM3 or RMH04. Applications: ELISA. Clone: RM428. Isotype: Rabbit IgG. Formulation: Liquid. 50% Glycerol/PBS and 0.09% sodium azide. 25-Hydroxyvitamin D3 is produced in the liver by 25-hydroxylation of cholecalciferol or Vitamin D3. It is a precursor for other Vitamin D3 metabolites and has only a limited biological activity in itself. Detection of 25-Hydroxyvitamin D3 is important for the diagnosis of Vitamin D deficiency, insufficiency or intoxication.
