Background:
NCOA4 Antibody: Study showed that NCOA4-mediated ferritin complex degradation supplies iron to mitochondria. Loss of COPZ1 induces NCOA4 mediated autophagy and ferroptosis in glioblastoma cell lines. NCOA4-mediated ferritinophagy promoted inflammatory responses in periodontitis. Low expression of ferritinophagy-related NCOA4 gene in relation to unfavorable outcome and defective immune cells infiltration in clear cell renal carcinoma.

Anti-NCOA4 antibody (9663) was raised against a peptide corresponding to 13 amino acids near the center of human NCOA4. The immunogen is located within 420-470 amino acids of NCOA4.
ISOFORMS:
Human NCOA4 has 4 isoforms, including isoform alpha (614aa, 69.7kD), isoform beta (287aa, 32.6kD), isoform 3 (630aa, 71.4kD) and isoform 4 (650aa, 73.6kD). Mouse NCOA4 has at least one isoform (625aa, 70.4kD). Rat NCOA4 has one isoform (622aa, 70.3kD). 9663 can detect NCOA4 in human, mouse and rat.
