Further Information

Additional Names:
ZC3H12A Antibody: Endoribonuclease ZC3H12A, Monocyte chemotactic protein-induced protein 1, MCP-induced protein 1, MCPIP-1, Zinc finger CCCH domain-containing protein 12A
Application Note:
ZC3H12A (CT) Peptide is used for blocking the activity of ZC3H12A (CT) Antibody.
Background:
ZC3H12A Antibody: ZC3H12A is an MCP1 (CCL2; MIM 158105)-induced protein that acts as a transcriptional activator and causes cell death of cardiomyocytes, possibly via induction of genes associated with apoptosis. ZC3H12A inhibits the Wnt/beta-catenin signaling pathway activity and modulates epithelial-mesenchymal transition during clear cell renal cell carcinoma progression by targeting miRNAs. ZC3H12A ribonuclease can bind and cleave AURKA mRNA in MYCN-amplified neuroblastoma cells. ZC3H12A is a novel link between diabetogenic conditions and impaired insulin secretory capacity. ZC3H12A overexpression in human neuroblastoma cell lines causes cell-cycle arrest by G1/S checkpoint block.
