Bioactivity:
Stachybotrysin B is a fungal metabolite originally isolated from S. chartarum and has antiviral and anticancer activities.1,2 It has antiviral activity against HIV in SupT1 cells (IC50 = 19.2 μM).1 Stachybotrysin B is cytotoxic to K562, HeLa, and HL-60 cells (IC50s = 21.72, 39.63, and 18.5 μM, respectively).2
