BMS-279700 is a potent oral activity inhibitor that is part of a new family of aniline 5-azimidazolaquoxaline analogs and has excellent anti-inflammatory activity in vivo, as well as in vitro activity against p56LCK and T cell proliferation, blocking the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines (IL-2 and TNFα) in vivo.
