Leukopak, Fresh, 5B Cells

Leukapheresis is performed using the Spectra Optia® Apheresis System. Mononucleated cell-rich blood is continuously collected using ACD-A as an anticoagulant. During collection autologous plasma is combined with apheresed cells at a 4:6 ratio. The product is filled to deliver not less than 5 or 10 billion total nucleated cells (TNC). TNC in our leukapheresis products are composed of on average 50% T cells 20% monocytes 10% B cells 7% NK cells and 3% granulocytes. Actual product volume TNC concentration and cell type percentages vary from collection to collection.
