Background:
SLC2A9, also known as GLUT9, is a
member of the facilitative glucose transporter family, and
highly expressed in kidney and liver. SLC2A9 also shows
strong transport activity for uric acid in Xenopus oocytes.
Genetic variations in the SLC2A9 gene strongly correlate
with serum uric acid concentra
tion as well as the risk of
gout.
Formulation:
50 ul volume of PBS containing50% glycerol, pH 7.2. No preservative is contained.
Gene IDs:
Human: 56606 Mouse: 117591
Immunogen Translated:
Synthetic peptide derived from human SLC2A9
Reactivity:
This antibody can be used to stain
endogenous antigen in paraffin embedded human tissues
including testis by immunohist
ochemistry. The reactivity of
this antibody has been confirmed by Western blotting,
Immunocytochemistry and intr
acellular Flow cytometry to
detect the full-length of human SLC2A9 transiently
expressed in HEK 293T cells
Shelf Life:
1 year
Source:
This antibody was affinity purified from rabbit
serum. The rabbit was immunized with a synthetic peptide
derived from human SLC2A9.
Target:
SLC2A9
