Background:
TLR4 (Toll-like receptor 4), a member of Toll-like receptor family, may act as a receptor for LPS (lipopolysaccharide). It associates with the MD-2 molecule by its extracellular domain. The LPS signal through TLR4 may be greatly enhanced by this association. This antibody (clone MTS510) reacts selectively with mouse TLR4-MD-2 complex but not with TLR4 alone in flow cytometry.
