Background:
Podoplanin is a sialoglycoprotein, which can be used to distinguish lymphatic vessels from blood vessels. Podoplanin is also known as Aggrus, a platelet aggregation-inducing factor. Furthermore, podoplanin has been reported to be a novel cancer stem cell marker. This rat monoclonal antibody against human podoplanin is useful for immunohistochemistry with formalin-fixed paraffin embedded sections. This antibody also can be used in FACS, Western-blot, and immunoprecipitation.
Formulation:
PBS/50% glycerol, pH 7.2
Source:
Purified IgG from hybridoma supernatant

Podoplanin
