WB - 1 ug/mL (chemiluminescence detection system) IP - 5 ug / 200 uL of cell extract from
5x106 cells
Background:
Luciferase is a 61 kDa luminescent enzyme isolated from Photinus pyralis (North American Firefly). The enzyme catalyzes the ATP dependent oxidation of beetle luciferin to produce inorganic phosphate and light. Luciferase is frequently used as a reporter protein to quantify expression levels from promoters in tissue culture and in vivo.
Concentration:
1 mg/mL
Formulation:
100 ug IgG in 100 ul volume of PBS containing 50% glycerol, pH 7.2. Contains no preservatives.
Immunogen Translated:
Length recombinant luciferase (photinus pyralis)
Reactivity:
This antibody reacts with Luciferase
(61kDa) on Western blotting.
Shelf Life:
1 year
Source:
This antibody was purified from hybridoma
(clone 2D4) supernatant using protein A agarose. This
hybridoma was established by fusion of mouse myeloma
cell P3-U1 with Balb/c mouse lymphocyte immunized
with recombinant full length luciferase (photinus pyralis).
Target:
Luciferase
