Background:
Endoglin, also known as CD105, is a type I membrane protein. Endoglin is a major glycoprotein located on the cell surface of vascular endothelium. It is involved in regulation of angiogenesis. In cancer tissue, endoglin is over-expressed in proliferating endothelial cells which line tumor blood vessels. Moreover, tumor cells also express endoglin in prostate cancer and melanoma. Endoglin might be a good candidate to be used for tumor imaging and for targeted cancer therapy.
Formulation:
1 mg/mL in PBS/50% glycerol, pH 7.2
Gene IDs:
Human: 2022
Immunogen Translated:
Human CD105 (Endoglin) expressed Ba/F3 transfectants generated from SST-REX (signal sequence trap by retrovirus-mediated expression screening).
Reactivity:
This antibody reacts with human CD105
(Endoglin) on Flow cytometry.
Target:
CD105 (Endoglin)
