Description:
Excitatory amino acid transporter 1 (EAAT1), also called GLAST, is a protein that, in humans, is encoded by the SLC1A3 gene. It is mapped to 5p13.2. This gene encodes a member of a member of a high affinity glutamate transporter family. This gene functions in the termination of excitatory neurotransmission in central nervous system. Mutations are associated with episodic ataxia, Type 6. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.

Antigen affinity purified
Formulation:
0.5mg/ml if reconstituted with 0.2ml sterile DI water
Immunogen:
Amino acids EMKKPYQLIAQDNETEKPID were used as the immunogen for the EAAT1 antibody.
Limitation:
This EAAT1 antibody is available for research use only.
