COX-2/NO-IN-1 is an orally active nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) and NO ( IC 50 of 3.52 uM) inhibitor as well as suppresses the expression of COX-2. COX-2/NO-IN-1 has anti-inflammatory effects and reduces pathological damage to kidney tissues[1].
