Bioactivity:
ACA-28 (compound 2a) is a potent modulator of ERK MAPK signaling that induces apoptosis with ERK hyperactivation therefore selectively inhibits cancer cell growth. The IC 50 values of ACA-28 against melanoma cells (SK-MEL-28) and normal melanocytes (NHEM) cell growth is 5.3 and 10.1 uM, respectively [1].
