Ep vinyl quinidine (3-Epiquinine) is an epi-vinyl stereoisomer of Quinidine. Quinidine can be used in malaria research which is also an antiarrhythmic agent. Quinidine is a potent, orally active, selective inhibitor of cytochrome P450db as well as a blocker of K+ channel with an IC 50 of 19.9 uM [1] [2] [3].
