Bioactivity:
PDE4-IN-9 (Compound 5j) is a potent PDE4 inhibitor. In vitro enzyme assay, the IC 50 value of PDE4-IN-9 against PDE4 is 1.4 uM which is lower than 2.0 uM of parent rolipram. PDE4-IN-9 also shows good in vivo activity in LPS-induced animal models of asthma/COPD and sepsis [1].
