BChE-IN-14 (compound 19c) can restore cognitive impairment in vivo that can be used in the Alzheimer?s disease research. BChE-IN-14 has primary cell safety and good blood brain barrier permeability. BChE-IN-14 is a selective inhibitor of butyrylcholinesterase (BChE) with IC50 values of 0.011 uM and 0.23 uM for hBChE and eqBChE, respectively [1].
