Among them, Zotatifin (eFT226) is a selective, potent and well-tolerated inhibitor of eIF4A that promotes the binding of eIF4A to specific mRNA sequences with recognition motifs in 5'-UTRs with an IC50 value of 2 nM and also hinders the assembly of the eIF4F initiation complex.
