hCA XII/II/IX-IN-1 is a potent inhibitor of human carbonic anhydrase (hCA) and is able to act on hCA I (IC50: 2.6 uM), hCA II (IC50: 0.004 uM), hCA IX (IC50: 0.005 uM) and hCA XII (IC50: 0.001 uM). hCA XII/II/IX -IN-1 exhibited anticancer effects.
