Bioactivity:
GRPR antagonist-1 is a potent antagonist of the gastrin-releasing peptide receptor (GRPR) and is cytotoxic to certain cancer cells (able to act on PC3 cells (IC50: 4.97 uM), Pan02 cells (IC50: 4.36 uM), HGC-27 cells (IC50: 3.40 uM)). antagonist-1 was able to reduce the level of Bcl-2 and increase the level of Bax, thereby inhibiting the viability of HGC-27 cells and causing apoptosis, and exhibited anti-cancer effects.
