Piroxicam betadex is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug. The mechanism of action of piroxicam is as a cyclooxygenase Inhibitor. It is well established in treating rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis and used for musculoskeletal disorders, dysmenorrhea, and postoperative pain.
