Haemanthamine hydrochloride targets ribosomal that inhibits protein biosynthesis during the elongation stage of translation. Haemanthamine hydrochloride has pro- apoptotic , antioxidant, antiviral, antimalarial and anticonvulsant activities [1] [2] .
