Loxosceles Spiniceps Venom is a venom that can be obtained from Loxosceles Spiniceps . The venom of the Loxosceles spiders is a complex mixture of toxins enriched by proteins, glycoproteins and low molecular mass peptides . Several protein classes have been identified including astacin-like metalloprotease , low molecular mass insecticidal peptides , the inhibitor cysine knot peptides (ICK) and phospholipase-D . The unique enzyme, sphingomyelinase D is responsible for the development of the necrosis [1] .
