OXi8007 is a water-soluble phosphate that is a prodrug for OXi8006, a microtubulin-binding compound. OXi8007 is a vascular disrupting agent with potential anticancer activity. It has been found to be strongly cytotoxic against the DU-145 tumor cell line, and it has also been shown to significantly interfere with the tumor vascular system.
