NF-κB/MAPK-IN-1 (compound 11a) is a potent inhibitor of NF-κB and MAPK pathways. NF-κB/MAPK-IN-1 could inhibit the production of NO (IC50: 6.96 uM). NF-κB/MAPK-IN-1 inhibited LPS-induced activation of iNOS, COX-2, ER-κ and P38, and inhibited LPS-induced inflammatory response in macrophages. NF-κB/MAPK-IN-1 can be used to study rheumatoid arthritis (RA).
