Bioactivity:
Arachidonoyl ethanolamide phosphate (AEA-P), an endocannabinoid, acts as a ligand for both CB1 and CB2 cannabinoid receptor subtypes. It is naturally produced within the central nervous system and peripheral immune cells. AEA-P binds to CB1 receptors found in the central nervous system and CB2 receptors located in peripheral immune cells.
