Ibuprofen is an anti-inflammatory inhibitor targeting COX-1 and COX-2. Ibuprofen is metabolized in the human liver to a number of metabolites including 1-hydroxyibuprofen (1-OH-Ibu), 2-OH-Ibu and 3-OH-Ibu, respectively. 1-Hydroxyibuprofen was determined as the dominant compound in soils. This product can be used as a working standard or secondary analytical reference standard.
