liquid
Formulation:
Lyophilized. Contains PBS.
Handling Advice:
After reconstitution, prepare aliquots and store at -20°C.Avoid freeze/thaw cycles.Centrifuge lyophilized vial before opening and reconstitution.PBS containing at least 0.1% BSA should be used for further dilutions.
Long Description:
Protein. The extracellular domain of human TRAIL-R1 (aa 24-239) is fused to the Fc portion of human IgG1. Source: HEK 293 cells. Endotoxin content: <0.01EU/µg purified protein (LAL test; Lonza). Lyophilized. Contains PBS. Binds to human and mouse TRAIL. Purity: >95% (SDS-PAGE). TRAIL-R1 (DR4; CD261) is a receptor for the cytotoxic ligand TRAIL. The adapter molecule FADD recruits caspase-8 to the activated receptor. The resulting death-inducing signaling complex (DISC) performs caspase-8 proteolytic activation which initiates the subsequent cascade of caspases (aspartate-specific cysteine proteases) mediating apoptosis. Promotes the activation of NF-kappaB.
Molecular Weight:
~52kDa (SDS-PAGE)
NCBI, Uniprot Number:
O00220
Package Type:
Plastic Vial
