Further Information

Additional Names:
ASGR2, ANCO1, GAC-1, ANCO-2, Nbla00144
Application Note:
ASGR2 antibody can be used for detection of ASGR2 by ELISA at 1:312500. ASGR2 antibody can be used for detection of ASGR2 by western blot at 0.5 μg/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
Background:
ASGR2 binds to galactose-terminated glycoproteins. It transports these glycoproteins via a series of membrane vesicles and tubules to an acidic-sorting organelle where the receptor and ligand dissociates. Then the receptor is recycled back to the cell surface. There are four alternatively spliced transcript variants of this gene. This gene has multiple polyadenylation sites.
